Time saving execution

China's government imitates an execution method from… the Nazis

China is known for their "easy finger on the trigger" policy regarding executions and recently the Chinese government has come up with a disturbing solution- death vans. The death vans are regular vans modulated into an execution room, with a stretcher, cuffs and a doctor. After being sedated inside the prison, the prisoner is being escorted in to the van where he's being injected with the lethal drug cocktail.

This method was active during the Nazis era. They loaded up people into vans that were modulated in to mobile gas chambers.

The Chinese government sees this as an easy, cheap and yet "respectable" way to commit these execution

We have not sold our execution cars to foreign countries yet
, says a Chinese spokesman. When all put into perspective, when it comes to the Chinese, this IS a respectful way to die: until 1905, the Chinese used a method of execution called "death by a thousand cuts"- the prisoner's eyes were removed in order to prevent him from knowing which part of his body is being cut off, then his ears, lips, nose, fingers etc were removed before cutting off whole limbs.

The question of human rights comes to mind instantly in this case, yet it gets seriously creepy when you learn that the prisoners aren’t just killed in these vans, but their internal organs are being removed for additional use (transplants and research).

I think that there's a place to hold an investigation by the ICJ (international court of justice) in order to stop this violation of human right. As a global modern society- we should not let this continue.

Orlando tea party

On Saturday March 21st, a conservative rally took place at Lake Eola park in Orlando Florida. The rally was gathered to show discontent from the current democrat administration lead by President Barack Obama.

What was supposed to be a huge conservative protest, titled "Orlando tea party" turned out to be just a gathering of 4,200 conservatives holding signs.

Many of the people that attended the rally heard about it from a radio show hosted by Bud Hedinger; Herdinger was quoted at the rally saying "This is maybe the greatest single gathering of God-fearing patriots in the history of Orlando, Florida,".

He majority of people at the rally were against the bailout plans made by president Obama "I hate seeing them spend my grand children's money." Says Ross Iannarelli, a protestor.

French Kids- MGMT VS. Sarkozy

The American indie band MGMT, decided to sue Nicolas Sarkozy for copyright infringement.
The band's popular hit song "Kids" was used by the Union pour un Mouvement Populaire party, at their national congress without permission. Even though the UMP (i.e.) paid a certain fee to the French musical licensing organization, the band claim that it wasn't sufficient given the frequent use of the song on various videos online.
In response to the band's accusations, Sarkozy admitted using the song in their videos due to an unfortunate mistake; Sarkozy then offered to compensate the band with a symbolic amount of 1 €.
The band found the offer ridicules and disrespectful especially coming from a leader of a democratic country who's a member of the UN and is aware of the international law system.
In 1883, France held the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property; 172 countries signed this treaty. 3 years later in 1886, the international laws regarding intellectual property were established the Berne convention. The treaty created at the Berne Convention clearly addresses the copyrights issues between the countries that signed the treaty; the Berne convention requires every country in the treaty to address every owner of an intellectual property with the same rights the country grants its own citizens. He Berne convention set up a bureau to enforce the intellectual property laws and in 1974 the bureau became an organization within the United Nations.
Since the United States signed the treaty in 1989, the laws apply on both France and he US; it is a surprise to see that a leader of a democratic country like Sarkozy would disrespect the intellectual property of another and withhold the right treatment to this case. The Band should be compensated with the right amount as if they were a French citizen whose rights had been violated.
I wish to see President Sarkozy publicly apologies to MGMT and give them the right amount of money and compensation they deserve.
